In Kashmir,people exist,
With decades of corruption,
Did we really resist?,
We forgot how we were duped,
By the very leaders that we chose,
Filling their own hidden pockets;
We cheered them as they rose,
Or do we forget the fact,
That we have a special trait,
We don't think before choosing,
And let the“chosen one” dictate,
Maybe this is why we're here,
Our naivety knows no bounds,
Like prey we scamper about,
Chased by the hunter's hounds,
Unless we change the way we think,
And start pondering more,
Our lives will remain the same;
We’ll continue as before,
In the cock fight between the two,
We stand like a spectator,
Betting on who might win;
Either ways, a dictator,
Before we fight the giants,
Before we climb that hill,
Inside our soul are demons,
We really need to kill,
But if we take the path,
Which stops this unending fight,
We will have traversed the darkness,
And finally entered light,
Walking the path of wisdom,
Our logic will get some legs.
Cockfights are not fought with hens,
And a rooster won't lay any eggs.
By the very leaders that we chose,
Filling their own hidden pockets;
We cheered them as they rose,
Or do we forget the fact,
That we have a special trait,
We don't think before choosing,
And let the“chosen one” dictate,
