A DIFFERENT DELUSION

F'rgive us,Providence ,
F'r we has't mis'rably did fail;
We art not human anym're,
Failing to seeth things as those beest,
We art not humane as bef're,

We art nay longer civilized,
And art nay longer refined,
We art animals with a human visage;
Our “humanity” redefined,

The evil cloak of delusion,
A parasite in our minds,
We tend to discriminate 'gainst oth'rs,
Who is't art not “our kind”,

We bethink yond we knoweth who is't we art,,
And,in our twist'd logic,
We beginneth to bethink,that ,because we bethink,
We very much might not but beest,
But yond still doesn't answ'r the questioneth,
“Who very much art we?”

Alloweth's ponder humanity,
And at which hour thy fellow human is not an equal,
Inhumanity cometh again;
“The falleth of civilization”-a sequel,

Has't we f'rgotten the ancient lore?,
The reason f'r our survival,
Then wherefore doth we still act inhuman?,
The Dark Ages' revival,

Our societies has't did fail,
But not because of invad'rs,
Responsible art those people;
Our own rogue crusad'rs,

A most wondrous civilization shall not falleth,
To an oppress'r from without,
Unless t is first did destroy,
By an oppress'r from within.
