A farewell to
winter;soon,I hope,
The sweetness
of water down the slope,
Until the
mountain tops are dry,
Gone are the
reasons for people to mope,
The warmth of
the sun and a gentle breeze,
It is a far
cry from the winter's freeze,
The sky is
full of the feathered friends,
The ground
replete with rejuvenated trees,,
Every bud,and
every flower,
Awaits the
season's first shower,
And great is
the strength of spring's warmth,
Such is
nature's display of power,
A season to
celebrate with the birds and the bees,
A beautiful
gesture by nature,to please,
Certainly
not,our culture's vestige,
Get wet in the
rain and joyfully sneeze.
